Every December I choose a word as my intention for the following year. In my experience, New Year’s resolutions quickly get left behind in the busyness of work and family. On the other hand, setting an intention silently colors my decisions and shifts my life. Who would have guessed when I chose the word YES! for 2020 that we would be experiencing a pandemic. How does a person say YES! to a pandemic?
For me YES! meant choosing not to shut down out of fear but instead to post Morning Mindset out on social media for all the world to see. Yipes! This week I’m going to take a break and consider my word for 2021.
