Anger, frustration, resentment, all come from a place of fear that our needs will not be met in some way. When people are angry, taking the time to understand their underlying concern can have a huge impact. I’m not talking about trying to “make it better” but simply making the effort to listen and truly understand what is happening for the other person. We are never upset for the reason we think we are.
