The Ray’s won the American league division series against the Yankees by one point. Then they won their first game against the Astros in the American league championship series, again by one point. Diego Castillo, was the closing pitcher for the Rays in both games.
To look at Castillo is like looking at the kid down the street. He’s a little overweight, unassuming and sits quietly in the dugout awaiting his turn to play the game.
Top of the ninth inning and I’m yelling at the TV screen, “Go Diego”! His focus and determination are amazing. Can he put that last batter out again? Yes he can! Ray’s win!
It’s not what is on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that makes the biggest difference.
