Finally, after months of looking she found a job. The job was something she could do in her sleep. It felt same old, same old. It didn’t pay well. It meant long hours on the phone. But the people were really good people and it was a reliable, steady job.
And then, two weeks later the job opportunity of her dreams showed up. It wasn’t as secure of a position and starting pay wasn’t any better. But, it was work that had her feeling alive again and could lead to an even more exciting future.
It took courage but she made the leap to the new opportunity. She’s thriving now and I have no doubt she’ll be successful in her new career.
Choosing between growth and stagnation is a key difference between success and failure.
