On a recent Zoom call a person asked the question, “What is the biggest thing you have learned because of the pandemic?” She wasn’t asking about skills such as learning to cook or use a new software application. What she was asking was, “What did you learn about yourself and life?”
One person responded that they are learning patience. Another person realized her need to reach out to others more. I said that focusing on the good I can do today feels more satisfying than being concerned about a future that may or may not ever happen.
Most people have spent a lot of time just coping with all the changes and haven’t stopped to reflect on what the changes mean to us.
I’m curious. What is the biggest thing you have learned about yourself and life in the past six months?
